Fall’s Fashion Finds

The four-city marathon is over. Fashion Week’s best and brightest have showcased their designs in New York, Paris, Milan, and London. Buyers, editors, and bloggers have taken note with rather unanimous takeaways. Runways were brimming with statement accessories, luxurious textures, and autumnal hues. With so many beautiful shows, displaying countless stunning pieces, we’re highlighting our favorite luxury trends you need to know to prepare you for Fall 2016.

Statement Fur
Fur was everywhere for fall, whether real or faux. The controversial pieces appeared in various forms and were arranged in an array of beautiful hues from pastels, cobalt blue, and camel. Eye-catching graphic patterns were introduced by the likes of Oscar De La Renta, Fendi, and Jason Wu. Florals, windowpane grids, and color blocking were just a few of the many interesting treatments fur received. Be prepared; this seasons furs are not for the meek.

Try: New to fur? Try this season’s most glamourous accessory, the fur stole. Keep warm during the chilly nights that seem to be creeping in with a sophisticated update to the scarf. Wrap it around your shoulders, cross body, drawn around your neck, or across your hands. There’s no wrong way to wear this statement making piece.

Fall Colors
After a Summer season filled with retro minimalism, we’re welcoming winter with a bold shot of color. Daring hues are exploding on jumpers, velvet frocks, overcoats, and evening wear. With a few surprising color selections considering the time of year, fashion week drew parallels from nature with its pantone choices. With colors invoking feelings of tranquility, strength, and optimism, the classic fall hues featured included: coppertone, khaki and olive green, riverside blue, potters clay, and warm taupes.

Try: With so many options to choose from; puffer jackets, capelets, trench coats, and gloves, the range of styles to incorporate this season’s most stylish shades are endless. Though many designers may have once shied away from including two of our favorite colors, olive green and potters clay, more and more collections are beginning to incorporate the rich shades. Fortunately for us, our favorite luxury luggage and travel accessories not only come in a variety of colors, but resemble this season’s sought after tones. Our luggage for women – the statement-making Quartermaster – pairs cargo green with tango to both compliment and liven this luxury carryon.
